Research Opportunities

The George Washington University's Department of Biological Sciences offers research opportunities for students of all levels.

The Harlan Undergraduate Research Program is a summer fellowship program for undergraduate biology majors. Those selected to be a part of the program receive a $5000 stipend to support their independent research in the laboratory of a member of the biology department.

The Scholars in Quantitative and Natural Sciences (SQNS) program is designed for students who are interested in STEM research. The goal of this program is to prepare undergraduate students for research via select courses and academic programs.
