Current Research

I am studying carbon cycling within forest systems and the role that decomposition has on carbon flux from terrestrial stores. Particularly, I am interested in the role that termites have on carbon turnover rates and forms. Accurately representing terrestrial sources and sinks of carbon is a primary goal for better understanding carbon balance in the context of global change.
